"Everyone" is the 11th missions music collection I have been privileged to produce. I cannot adequately express what a joy it has been to team up with J. Daniel Smith and Tim Schirman as we work on this exciting project each year.
This year's musical is the third from which all the videos are producted in hight definition and widescreen format. The video also features brief stories about missionaries in 14 countries of the world.
As in years past, "Everyone" offers several options. The preferred way is to prsent it in its entirety. The message progression and musical pacing were given special attention to produce a smooth flow.
Complete breaks between songs allow a choir director to extract one or more songs to fit a church's unique needs.
Each song can also be used individually as part of an annual missions emphasis or on Missions Sunday.
The split-track performance video can be used in these three ways:
You'll likely find it much easier to utilize the narration already recorded on the right channel of the split track. These narrations are timed to fit perfectly within the song introductions, relieving you of the concern of live narration, which may run long and into the body of the tune. Simply ask your sound engineer to make sure the right channel of the split track is audible at the beginning of each tune. Unless you want to have the studio singers supplement your choir, you can then pull down the fader for the right channel and finish each tune. Repeat the process for each song that contains narration.
A Samoan worship team performs in three of the songs on the video (Everyone, Everybody Ought to Know, and Unless), adding a beautiful contribution to this year's musical. It is a combined worship team of singers from Lighthouse Outreach Center Assembly of God in Waipahu, Hawaii, and First Samoan Assembly of God in Honolulu. Special thanks to Pastors Joe Hunkin and Eddie Lafaele for their help, and a very special thanks to Frances Lafaele for her hard work in coordinating the team and making all of the arrangements.
Special thanks to J. Daniel Smith for his customary superb musical arrangements and to Tim Schirman for his exceptional video production, videography and video editing. Thanks also to Joe Mason for his incredible video graphics, videography and editing, and to Grant Heugel for his artistic videography.
My prayer is that this musical will help make this year's missions emphasis the greatest ever for your church.
